Kicking off with a cover that can only be described as Superfriends-ish, Chronos #7 is the best issue of the titles' short run. While it's a little convoluted, it's still an entertaining story involving super-heroes, murder, time travel, and a new twist in Walker Gabriel's life.
This story is one that starts with the hero in peril, the goes on to explain how the hero got into the mess to begin with, and finally shows the hero escaping from his dilemma. In this story, Walker is transported to Star City circa 2113, a future where there are few super-heroes left. On the street walks a manic mass-murderer who's morphing powers make for a perfect getaway. All his crimes are done dressed up as a classic member of the Justice League, and the murders simulate one of the heroes powers (it's similar in theme to the film 'Seven').
If you're interested in trying Chronos, this would be the one to start with.
