Probably the biggest rip-off in comics today, the Secret Files keep pouring out. This Aquaman one is bereft of quality, but still serves as a great wrap up to the first fifty issues of the current Aquaman series and prelude to what Erik Larsen has in store for us.
There's lots of pretty glossy pages, 48 of them to be exact (so why does it cost the same as the 80-page giants?), which really makes the colouring job stand out. The issue features a story written by Larsen, with art by Mike Millar and Saleem Crawford, which is basically a "what's happened to Aquaman up to this point" story. There's also a schematic of the Aquacave (Aquacave...?) and a quick 2-page story by Steve Vance, Jim Calafiore and Pete Palmiotti, featuring what the fishies really think of the king of the seven seas.
There's also the usual Secret Files stuff, like the Who's Who pages (which tell you absolutely nothing about the characters), a Brave and the Bold interview (with Tempest) and the Aquaman timeline. Basically, a waste of money (unless you really need to catch up on your A-man history), this comic reads like it was written for 5-year olds.
