This page will look much better shortly, but here's the blow-by-blow on my recent trip to Finland.
December 19 2003: Helsinki, the capital of Finland.
December 20 – 22: The province of Lapland,
with the villages of Ivalo and Inari (both day and night).
December 23 – 27: The province of North Karelia,
starring the capital Joensuu and Tyrjänsaari (where my family's from).
December 28 – 30: The Central Finland region,
featuring the towns of Ristiina and Kouvola.
December 31 – January 02 2004: The Southern Finland region,
wherein the cities of Lahti and Helsinki (again) are situated.
