Okay, okay, okay...what's going on? It's been so hard to write lately. All I've been doing is hanging out and watching wrestling. I'm excited about getting Entourage Season Four in the mail any day now but not really enough to put it into words for the world to read.
My iPod is messed up and maybe done for good. I didn't do anything. I went to use it to today and it gave me NOTHING. It is completely useless to me now. I did a diagnostics test and it told me what the error was. I just don't think there is anything that can be done about it. I reset the little fella back to its factory settings and I still get NOTHING when I eject it and try to play it.
It sucks.
Man, I haven't written anything in a long time. Things have been a little crazy lately. Things will pick up soon. I...think....or...hope.
I finally ordered The Tick: The Entire Series, Aqua Teen Hunger Force Volume 1 and Aqua Teen Hunger Force Volume 2 today! They were actually in stock for once. Now they are mine. I also picked up some wrestling the other day but didn't want to make another all wrestling post.
ROH Double Feature- Dover, NJ 3/14/08 & 3/15/08 (DVD)
Ring of Honor "Bloodstained Honor" (DVD)
The Best of Chikara (DVD)
I finally took the plunge and grabbed some Chikara. Since Claudio, Quack and Hero are some of my favourites in Ring of Honor I reckon I'll dig them in the "American lucha libre" promotion that the hip folks are all talking about. The ROH portion of the order is made up of a rare double feature (yeah!) containing two shows instead of the usual money grubbing one. The other DVD is a compilation that I actually could have purchased in a real store. Buying it this way was cheaper though.
Well, I'm finally over the food poisoning that I suffered from last week. I've never had it before and to be perfectly honest I'd rather have my back fused again than go through another bout of fever, vomiting, chills, aches, pains, nausea and very little sleep again. Thankfully Michelle was here and she took care of me like only someone who really loves you can. I was so nauseated that she couldn't even put her arm around me as I tried to sleep that first night.
After all I went through I have decided to boycott burger, chicken, taco joints for the foreseeable future. I'll still eat pizza and subs but that is it from the fast food industry for me. I will never get to try the Spicy Baconator but I think my sacrifice will be worth it in the long run. Its pretty much been a week since the food poisoning hit me and I'm only now feeling like solid foods won't stir up the uglies inside my stomach.
Unfortunately today it is Michelle's for some TLC and I feel terrible that I can't be there to give it to her. I don't think she has food poisoning but it sounds like a 24 hour flu and I know from experience that it isn't much easier to get through.
Well, I've done it. I've caught up and acquired all the 2007 ROH shows. From now on my purchases should be less frequent as I merely try and keep up to date on 2008. I only needed two shows from 2007 so I picked up two more from 2008 to keep things on the up and up and recent and all that.
Here's the damage...
ROH This Means War II- Long Island, NY 4/13/07 (DVD)
ROH The Battle Of St. Paul- St. Paul, MN 4/27/07 (DVD)
ROH Eye Of The Storm- Deer Park, NY 2/22/08 (DVD)
