i say: about damn time. sure, he was colourful, but pure populism doesn't make for any good long-term planning skills.

for pure entertainment value, he was up there like king kong, but as an elected official, he was a total farce. asking pop groups to re-unite, scared of being boiled alive by cannibals, flip-flopping on every possible issue, threatening fellow elected officials and journalists alike.
