peikko is the male cat of the house. he arrived last year after the same family friend who found famke noticed this white furry cat sitting outside the patio door as winter arrived. he'd be out there at all hours, looking in and making trouble with the resident cats. as with famke, he was brought to my mom to take care of, although there was a watch out to see if they would get along.

as opposed to famke, peikko arrived fairly healthy, although with a great many burr in his shaggy fur. he does have a numerical tattoo in one of his ears, indicating he's a purebred. however, he doesn't act as a pompous feline, preferring to poke about curiously, following whoever's home and scampering away when he's spooked, leaving little clumps of his hair everywhere he goes (making it easy to see if he's been on furniture he hasn't been on). he tries to play with famke, but they barely can sit together without famke hissing at him. having fur as he does, he needs regular combing and grooming, much to his chagrin.
