Rev... revolvers, revolves, revolutions, reviews, your engine in gear, your mind scintillated, you're titillated, curious? nextPAGE reviews: I did nextPAGE for roughly a year, between 98-99, reviewing everything I had watched, read, or listened to. It was very demanding and at some point I just couldn't handle having to have an opinion on everything, and then defend my opinion to anonymous readers, and then formatting and then uploading etc. etc. Too much work. Not enough me. I think either nextPAGE was inspired by the lack of progress on Eggnog.nu, or was it vice versa? comics reviews movie reviews It seems I've lost the music..if there was even one? miscellaneous reviews Hill City reviews: I have been involved with the Hill City Comics store for almost a decade, and with the website for half as long. The same problem with these reviews, as with all of them, is they are published from first draft. No editing, so they're a little rough sometimes. Graphic Novel Reviews: I'm slowly compiling a Graphic Novel review archive for Hill City. They get posted basically after I do them. Access them from the main page. Review Archive: For about two months, on a weekly basis, I reviewed new comics on release day. Then I moved to Toronto. oops. Dreamland Movie Reviews: Hill City amassed a huge collection of cult-videos (anime, euro-horror, asian-action, toho monster, sci-fi, genre tv etc) and on the Dreamland site myself and a few others reviewed almost everything, with a semi-serious, semi-quirky bent. The pages have been recatagorized, but you'll have to search them yourself for now. Emote: in rotation when I returned to actually working on webpages and stuff back in late 2000, the "in rotation" page off emote was done weekly until the new year at which point I ... don't know what happened. Argus reviews I did tonnes of review work over my four years (95-99) at the Argus Student Newspaper (mostly cds, mostly crap cds), unfortunately I don't feel like transcripting the copy, but if I find any on disks laying about I'll post them here. |
